Introduction

Project Overview

DAOBOT is a SocialFi project built on Telegram and Ton, aimed at bringing countless Telegram groups into the Web3 world and become the incentive layer of Telegram group ecosystem. By redefining how group value is created and distributed, we make this value visible and unlock unprecedented opportunities for SocialFi within these communities and its members.

Vision

To create a dynamic, decentralized social ecosystem where the value of group activities is clearly defined, visible, and rewarded, thereby enhancing the social and financial potential of Telegram groups. In this ecosystem, groups can become Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs), with Telegram users participating in groups through Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs). The data and value of each group and user will be fully realized and represented in the Web3 world.

Problem Statement

Current Challenges

1. Invisible Group Value: The contributions and activities of group members are often unquantified, making it difficult to assess and leverage group value. The value generated within Telegram groups is dispersed and hard to consolidate, leading to a lack of visibility and difficulty in monetizing these contributions effectively.

2. Lack of On-Chain Identity: Telegram groups lack a defined on-chain identity, making it difficult to integrate them into the Web3 ecosystem.

3. Lack of Group Discovery：Telegram lacks a unified entry point for groups, making it difficult for users to discover and join groups that match their interests. This fragmentation limits the potential for community growth and engagement.

4. Social Data Ownership: The lack of data sovereignty restricts users' autonomy and their ability to engage in self-sovereign identity management. It also limits the potential for a decentralized and user-centric approach to data governance within the Web3 ecosystem.

5. Monetization Issues: Group owners struggle to monetize the engagement and activities within their communities. The profit distribution between group owners and members is often unclear and inequitable.

Design Guidelines and Principles

1. Group as an Entity:

   • Groups are recognized as distinct entities.

   • They can hold assets, be represented, and make decisions.

   • This empowers groups to operate autonomously in the Web3 ecosystem.

2. Value Generation and Distribution:

   • Group value is consolidated, optimized, and clearly communicated.

   • Revenues from group activities can be redistributed among members.

   • This ensures the group's contributions are fully leveraged and fairly distributed.

3. User Sovereignty First:

   • User rights and data are protected.

   • Clear distinction between private and public content.

   • This ensures user control and privacy within the platform.

Our Solution

On-Chain Group Identity (GDID)

We provide Telegram groups with a TON address, serving as their Web3 identification. This allows groups to be located and displayed on the TON blockchain, where they are controlled by group owners and members.

Group Value Tokenization (Active to Earn)

By tracking active behaviors within Telegram groups, DAOBOT assigns activity value to groups and tokenizes it. Users earn tokens based on their activity, and group owners receive a portion of the total activity value, making the group's value visible and quantifiable.

Governance Tool (Asset Daistribution)

A comprehensive governance tool suite to facilitate internal governance and asset distribution within groups. This tool allows for transparent management of group assets, fair revenue distribution, and efficient decision-making.

Incentive System-DAOBOT Points

DAOBOT Points (DP) are our loyalty rewards designed to incentivize and reward active participation and engagement within the DAOBOT ecosystem. DP can be earned by both individual users and groups through various activities on the platform.

Rewards to User and Group

Four entities can earn rewards from DAOBOT:

• Group: A group with DAOBOT is considered a distinct entity and owns a GDID, functioning as a semi-DAO. A GDID is applied to every group, but incentives are activated only if the group has more than 50 members.

• Group Members: All members of the group are considered, excluding bots.

• Group Owner: The owner of the group, unique for each group, can transfer ownership. The owner is not considered an administrator.

• Group Administrators: These are administrators set by the group owner or other administrators, with up to 50 administrators per group (based on Telegram).

Active to Earn

There are four types of rewards defined as "active to earn":

Farm Reward

Farm reward is the basic incentive for every user in groups with DAOBOT. In the top 5 groups a user has joined, those with the highest level will be automatically selected as farming groups. Each farm group provides DP passively; the higher the group level, the more DP can be farmed each day. Members who haven't visited the DAOBOT mini app are not eligible. Group levels depend on the number of members.

Notice: If you were a member of the group before DAOBOT was added, you will not automatically start farming unless you send a message in the group to indicate that you are an active member.

Active Reward

Group members earn DP by being active in the group. Members receive 10 DP for their first message in a group each day, up to a maximum of 10 different groups per day. Emojis, stickers, GIFs, voice messages, and videos also count as messages. Repeated messages in the same group on the same day do not earn additional points. Members who haven’t visited the DAOBOT mini app are still eligible to earn active rewards. Active reward will not be deducted if a message is deleted after being sent.

If a member is kicked out of a group, the active reward earned in that group are reset to zero. If a member leaves a group voluntarily, the points are not cleared. If a member re-joins a group after leaving, any points earned before being kicked out will be reset. Only the points earned from the most recent joining will be cleared if they are kicked out again.

A user can set up to 5 favorite groups, which will provide double active rewards. This benefit applies to both DAOBOT users and groups.

Group Reward

Group rewards apply to all groups with DAOBOT and are based on the active rewards of group members. The daily group reward (G) is calculated as the sum of the daily active rewards generated by group members multiplied by the group's activity coefficient (A).

• G is the daily group reward.

• ∑ is the sum of the daily active reward generated by group members.

• A is the group's activity coefficient.

About the coefficient A:

*During the public testing period, the A coefficient will be set to 1.

Group rewards will not be deducted for kicking out members. However, group DPs will be frozen if DAOBOT is removed, admin permissions are revoked, or the group is disbanded, and active member scoring is paused.

Manage Reward

Manage rewards are earned by group owners and administrators for adding DAOBOT to the group and for managing the group.

• Add DAOBOT to Groups: Add DAOBOT to a group with more than 50 members (excluding bots) and set it as an administrator to receive DP reward based on group level. If the group owner adds the bot, they receive the reward. If an administrator adds it, both the owner and the administrator receive DP reward each. This reward is granted only once per group, and each account can claim this reward up to 20 times.

• Manage Groups: The group owner earns 20% of the group reward (G) daily. Group administrators collectively earn 10% of the group reward (G), which is evenly divided among them, excluding bots and the group owner. The status of group owners and administrators is determined at the time of settlement.

Manage rewards will not be deducted if the owner, administrator, group member, or DAOBOT is removed from the group.

Referrals

Share DAOBOT with friends to earn extra DP. When a user shares the DAOBOT link and the recipient starts farming, the recipient is considered invited. Each successful referral rewards the sharer with 50 DP, with no upper limit on the number of rewards. Additionally, sharers earn 10% of the active rewards generated by the referred users. Sharers can also distribute the link and earn DP even before they start farming themselves.

Tasks

Earn DP rewards by completing tasks. The DAOBOT mini app offers various tasks for users to complete. Rewards for tasks are granted only once. Additional tasks will be available in the future.
